100 Pleats in 100 Days Challenge: Day 76. Garder le Sourire.

Hello, what a lovely Sunday it’s been! Today I’ve been inspired to use my gorgeous, cute little Stonebridge Sourire U-pin.  Claire Stonebridge’s latest blog post shows just how versatile this pin can be!

And the meaning of “sourire”? According to the Collins French-English dictionary:

faire un sourire à qn : to smile at sb, to give sb a smile

garder le sourire: to keep smiling”

And today, keeping on keeping on with the 100 days challenge, and life in general, “garder le sourire” – to keep smiling – seems very appropriate.

Today, this little pin is holding my low bun all by itself, and is such a handy little pin to have in your handbag. It takes up no room at all, yet can hold a variety if styles all by itself – no additional pins, hairspray or styling products needed at all.
